I got a pedometer
Jul. 20th, 2004 08:08 amNot a speedometer, pedometers were given in our centre to everyone, casual staff (sudents like me)including. Our management takes care of our health and well-being:))
I was told that in order to stay healthy I have to make 10.000 steps a day. After a week of careful calculations, my average is 5.000 - 7.000 steps a day. Half of the stepage is done at home on the route: stove-fridge-table-children's bedroom.
It takes 1.000 steps to walk around our acreage (with couple of lots from the either side of it) so at 9.00 p.m I usually have a look at my pedometer and make as many circles as needed to have 10.000 steps.
Am I crazy? Yes, I am:))
